GB Q345R pressure vessel steel plate with guaranteed elevated temperature performance for boilers and pressure vessels.
Q345R is China's backbone pressure vessel plate under GB/T 713: 345 MPa class, guaranteed elevated-temperature strength values, and produced only by mills licensed for vessel steel - there is no gray-market version worth trusting. If your vessel follows Chinese code, this is the default; ASME jobs move to SA516.
Grades and Standards
- GB/T 713 Q345R (successor to the old 16MnR designation)
- Delivery as-rolled or normalized; normalized preferred for thickness above 30 mm

- Thickness 8-120 mm, widths 2000-2500 mm, lengths to 12000 mm
- Cut-to-size with beveling for shell courses and heads
Delivery Condition and Testing
EN 10204 3.1 MTC with elevated-temperature yield values, Charpy impact results and chemical analysis. Ultrasonic testing to NB/T 47013.3 is standard on thicker plates and can be specified at Grade I for critical vessels.

Questions Buyers Ask
Q: Q345R or SA516 Gr.70? A: Different code systems, similar territory - the deciding factor is which design code your vessel is registered under. We supply both and will not pretend one substitutes for the other without an engineering review.
Q: Do you supply normalized? A: Yes, and for thickness above 30 mm we recommend it even when the order sheet says as-rolled.
