S355J0/S355J2+N Structural Steel Plate
EN S355J0 and S355J2+N low alloy structural steel plate with 0C/-20C impact tested quality for bridges, cranes and machinery.
S355 is the European structural workhorse, and the J0/J2 suffix is what separates a real guarantee from hope: J2 carries 27 J Charpy at -20 deg C, which is why it shows up in cranes, transport equipment and anything that works through a real winter. We ship both as-rolled and normalized (+N).
Grades and Standards
- EN 10025-2: S355J0 (1.0553), S355J2 (1.0577), S355K2+N
- J2 options: +AR as-rolled or +N normalized; N is preferred for thick welded sections
- CEV controlled for weldability on request

- Thickness 8-150 mm, widths 2000-2500 mm, lengths to 12000 mm
- Cut-to-size with drilling and beveling for fit-up-ready parts
Delivery Condition and Testing
EN 10204 3.1 MTC standard, 3.2 via third-party inspection for project work. Impact tests are done per heat and plate direction - longitudinal as standard, transverse when your spec says so.

Q: S355J2 or Q355D? A: Chemically and mechanically they overlap heavily. Follow your project standard - European specs take S355, Chinese specs take Q355, and we produce either with the right certificate.
Q: Do you provide EN 10204 3.2? A: Yes, with a third-party inspector witnessing test and signing the certificate. Book it before production.
